Hostal La Isla - Mahon (Menorca)

the room had a comfortable bed. the hotel is located just off Mahon and Menorca town centre. 3. the hotel is close to a bar called Bar Qsins, where I tried some drinks. 4. There is a kitchenette area available in the room.

The hostal is a total bargain for the money. It is family run, comfortable, clean and friendly. My reservation came with breakfast, which the owner was kind enough to serve me even after they had officially stopped serving it my first day there. Mao is not near a beach but the hostal is a 12 minute walk to the bus station, which has a 20 minute bus (#92) that will take you to Punta Prima (buses run to other beaches, with less frequency). It was lovely to come back to an air-conditioned room after a day of adventuring, and the neighborhood felt very safe and comfortable. I liked it so much, I extended my trip for a day. If I return to Menorca, I would love to stay here again.

The room with good facilities.

the beds were comfortable. There was coffee and a kitchen area inside the room. 3. the staff was caring and attentive. 4. Everything was kept immaculately clean. 5. the location was amazing, near the old town overlooking the city.

Friendly family-style hotel in central location. Good value.

I have to mention the sensational and fine breakfast with great coffee and juice. The location is good and absolutely perfect, around 10-15 minutes walk from Mahon Port.

The room here is spacious and has good size, with a central location that is perfect for exploring the area, plus there's a great spot nearby, El Mirador, for taking shots within a short walk.

The hostal is located in mahon centre, 10 minutes away from bus station the room is comfortable and the furniture are new the breakfast is simply but good

They have charged me twice the bill on my credit card, surely is been a mistake

Good service of the owner/ bartender. The breakfast could have been more variating. The shower tap in room 304 should be repaired.The water came on the floor and remained there! Not good! The door was rotten. There was some "traffic" in my neighbour room, 303!? Every evening there were noises of all kind. Why just in this room? The hotel was nearly empty, it seemed. Near to the old town and near to the harbour :)

The breakfast here was simply fantastic, featuring delicious coffee and fresh tomatoes.

Very adequate for the money, 25 euros, non-refundable offer. Very small room and bathroom but nice and clean, basic but not shabby, new window, comfortable bed, good towels. Maybe not the very best possible area but 5 minutes walk to the old town. I just slept overnight before my early flight. Was given coffee, a glass of juice and a roll as included breakfast.

The hotel was very clean. The room was basic but that was what we were looking for. We used the hotel as a stop over on our way to friends. The staff were very helpful. The hotel is centrally placed for shopping and sight seeing.

I recently stayed at Hostal La Isla in Mahon for a few days and had a wonderful experience. The staff was friendly and helpful, the rooms were spotlessly clean, and the location was perfect - just a short walk to the center and port. I requested a room on an upper floor with a sunny view, and they delivered exactly what I wanted. The bathroom was modern and the rest of the facilities were up to my expectations. The hotel is located in a quiet area with plenty of restaurants and a supermarket nearby. The owner was incredibly gracious and the breakfast, although limited for vegetarians, was simple but good. The WiFi worked well for the most part. I loved my stay and hope to visit again.

Would be happy to recommend this hotel.

Hostal - overall reasonable for the price.

We really liked this little hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful - it was the first day of our holiday in Menorca (we were travelling around) and it was a great start.
